Mark Linn-Baker stars in this adaptation of the popular series of children's books.
Closing date at the Cort: June 15, 2003
Arnold Lobel's characters "Frog" and "Toad" wend their way through the forest, encountering adventure though the eyes of childhood. These books, whimsically illustrated by the author, are a staple of any pre-kindergartner's library.
A word from the review in the Times:
No acrid airs of irony, condescension or frantic salesmanship hover over this gentle, agreeable production, which presents episodes in the friendship of two slime-free amphibians set to song... Would I recommend it to grown-ups unaccompanied by children? Honestly, no.
This is a very good choice for kids within a fairly narrow age range. Kids under 3 are not admitted.
