If you're looking for something a bit like Hairspray but would prefer something a little less aimed at the kid market, this campy Fifties-fest might be an interesting choice. Though the critics gave it a rather unequivocal "meh" (see Critics Ratings, below), this enthusiastically choreographed rebel-with-a-cause-meets-good-girl-sendup certainly has a charm of its own.
It's on the lighter side of the Broadway spectrum, to be sure, but if you're looking for an easygoing evening, this Grease spoof might be just the ticket.
