Running since April 2010 Sherie Rene Scott brings her enormously entertaining auto-bio-musical to Broadway...the show chronicles the conservatively-raised Ms. Scott's move to NYC and features songs made famous by artists ranging from Judy Garland to U2. Closes July 11th.

Roundabout Theatre, which scrambled to put this show back together to replace its cancelled production of Terence McNally's "Lips Together, Teeth Apart," describes the show as "a young woman's psycho-sexual-spritual journey on the rocky path that separates her mostly Mennonite past from her mostly Manhattan future."
The Second Stage Theatre's 2009 Off-Broadway production of "Everyday Rapture" received excellent reviews. The AP called it "touching, tuneful and often hilarious" and the NY Times said "while this singing pseudo-memoir is tiny by Broadway standards, it easily qualifies as one of the year’s most extravagantly entertaining new musicals."
