This is a big-budget musical playing one of the Street's signature houses - great for folks looking for an entertainment on the lighter side, smack-dab in the middle of Times Square. The director/choreographer did the dances for Hairspray and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - you can kind of see what they're aiming at here.
Plot: Sorority girl hits Harvard Law school - charming chaos results, life-lessons are learned, and everyone walks away smiling. You could do worse for $110... (Update, $120.)
Interesting souvenir (which can be picked up in advance): the handbags used onstage were designed by the show's star, and are available online here. Beats the pricey tchotchkes usually arrayed in the lobby by a long mile.
The critics were more cool than kind (see Critics Ratings, below), but most conceded that it was a good pick for the bubblegum & myspace crowd. Send dad to the Yankees game.
Everyone must have a ticket. Not recommended for children under the age of 10.
