The confidante known to legions of fans of "Sex and the City" takes the stage for two hours and spins a fantasia of Judy Garland and growing up as a gay Italian-American. No pathos here, just a rollicking good time buoyed along by a performer with enough kinetic energy to light Fire Island for a season.
Although the production pedigrees are impressive (same director as Wicked), it's basically a two hour cabaret/monologue with some audience participation. Leave the kids at home (or invest in a blindfold & earplugs), but for adults looking for hip, irreverent and very funny evening, this is a good buy.
