"A Behanding in Spokane" is Academy Award-winner Martin McDonagh's hilariously black comedy, a world premiere which marks McDonagh's first American-set play. Martin McDonagh's canon includes the stunning drama "The Pillowman" (Tony-nominee as Best Play in 2005) and the black (and we mean pitch black) comedy "The Lieutenant of Inishmore" (Tony-nominee as Best Play in 1998). His lighter plays include "The Cripple of Inishmaan," which received a wonderful production last season at Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theatre Company. Closes June 6th.
