Billy Crystal comes to Broadway with a heartwarming autobiographical one-man show.
Closing Date at the Broadhurst Theatre: June 12, 2005
This show is more of a personal autobiography than show-business history, as Crystal revisits the stories and souls that shaped his outlook on life, from Sammy Davis Jr. to the Dodgers. A genuine evening of theatre, Crystal has developed it over the last year in concert with a leading regional theatre director (Des McAnuff, the director of Dracula), and all reviewers accounted it an insightful and compassionate evening.
The Broadhurst is a large theatre for a one-man-show, but ticket availability from the authorized ticketer is almost completely nonexistent - you'll notice that our Concierge service is relying on Premium Ticketers for the length of the run, and even the premium ticketers have some unavailable date ranges.
2005 Tony Award: Best Special Theatrical Event 2005 Drama Desk Award: Outstanding Solo Performance 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award : Outstanding Solo Performance
