Running since December 2012 Tony-winner Scarlett Johansson and Broadway heartthrob Benjamin Walker star in Tennessee Williams' sultry drama of worn-down dreams and slumbering passions.

The plot: Big Daddy Pollit, the richest cotton planter in the Delta, is dying of cancer at his Mississippi estate, and everyone is maneuvering to gain favor in the will. His son Brick, an aging football hero, and beautiful daughter-in-law Maggie (a deeply troubled couple, to put it mildly) try to gain from the reckoning.
This is Scarlett Johansson's first return to Broadway since her Tony-winning 2010 debut in "A View From the Bridge." Her assured performance surprised many NYC theater critics - USA Today called it "a revelation." To read a recent NY Times feature on the actress, click here.
Benjamin Walker made his first big splash on Broadway in the 2010 musical "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson." The Daily News praised his "magnetic performance" as a new-age 'Old Hickory' with "snug jeans and an angsty emo-rocker attitude."
Tennessee Williams won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama for "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." It is one of his best-known plays, along with his first major play, "The Glass Menagerie," and his other Pulitzer winner, "A Streetcar Named Desire."
