David Mamet won the Pulitzer Prize and received a Tony nomination in 1984 for "Glengarry Glen Ross," his lacerating look a timeshare swindlers which is back on Broadway this fall in a new production starring Al Pacino
. Mamet received a second Tony nomination for "Speed-the-Plow," and Oscar nominations for his screenplays for "The Verdict" and "Wag the Dog."
Patti LuPone is one of the grand theatrical divas of her generation. She originated the role of Eva Perón and won her first Tony for "Evita," and won a second Tony in 2008 for her portrayal of Mama Rose in "Gypsy."
Film star Debra Winger received Oscar nominations for "An Officer and a Gentleman," "Terms of Endearment," and "Shadowlands." She will be making her Broadway debut in "The Anarchist."
