The Little Dog Laughed

The Little Dog Laughed the Broadway Play - The Little Dog Laughed Tickets - click for tickets
New in 2006
A new play about the sexual secrets of young Hollywood stars transfers from Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre to the Main Stem's Cort Theatre.

Closing Performance at the Cort: February 18, 2007

This comedy about a gay but closeted film star, a male prostitute (and his girlfriend) and a conniving shark of an agent was a hit last year at Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre. Downtown playwright Douglas Carter Beane provides the words, and an able cast (the agent, especially, was singled out for many pundit plaudits) serves up the action.

Basic plot - star falls for prostitute, prostitute's girlfriend takes exception, agent smoothes everything over.

Best for mature audiences who gleefully watch "Inside Edition", martini in hand.

The 8:00PM performance on Sunday, February 18 is a benefit for the Actors Fund. Click here for tickets to this performance only.

May be inappropriate for 13 and under. (Subject matter; nudity.)
Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
