If you're looking for a sophisticated evening with a recognizable face, this might be an interesting pick. Movie star Laurence Fishburne impersonates legendary Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall for an easygoing 90 minutes. Don't expect the histrionics of high drama or a big musical number, but by most critical accounts, this one-man-show narrating a great American life is a rather pleasant and entertaining evening.
Interestingly, James Earl Jones played the role in 2006 for the premiere production at Westport Country Playhouse.
