Coming Attractions... the Broadway Musical - Coming Attractions... Tickets - click for tickets
Here's a list (incomplete, and always a work-in-progress) of upcoming Broadway shows that have venues reserved and preview dates scheduled, but are not yet on sale. Don't bet the bank or build a vacation around any of these - when contemplating anticipated Broadway shows, it is good to remember what they say about the plans of mice and men.

Time Stands Still - Manhattan Theatre Club's 2009 limited engagement earned a Tony nomination for Best Play. The re-mounted production will feature original cast members Laura Linney (a Best Actress Tony-nominee for her portrayal of a badly-wounded war photographer in this play), Brian d’Arcy James, and Eric Bogosian. Cort Theatre. Begins September 23rd.

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown - Lincoln Center Theater opens its season with a new musical based on Pedro Almodóvar's internationally acclaimed 1988 film. Adapted by the team responsible for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and directed by Bartlett Sher, director of LCT's long-running "South Pacific." Belasco Theatre. Begins October 2nd.

A Free Man of Color - Lincoln Center Theater's season continues with a new play by Tony-winner John Guare. A freewheeling epic set in 1802 New Orleans, the play will be directed by Tony-winner George C. Wolfe. Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Begins October 21st.

Good People - Manhattan Theatre Club's season continues with a new play about an unemployed South Boston woman scrambling to catch a break. Written by Pulitzer-winner David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Tony-winner Daniel Sullivan, the team behind MTC's successful play "Rabbit Hole." Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Begins February 8th.

War Horse - Lincoln Center Theater's mainstage season concludes with perhaps the most-anticipated event of the season. Set in WW1 Europe, the play tells the story of a young boy's journey to recover a beloved horse sold for use in the French cavalry. LCT will re-create the London production, which is now in its 3rd season and still a sensation. Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Begins March 17th.
