La Belle Époque meets Broadway razzle-dazzle in Mark Lamos's production of this rare operatic gem. The stylish staging, inspired by Toulouse-Lautrec, brings his famous can-can girls to life with the effervescent choreography of Seán Curran. Tenor Jean-Paul Fouchécourt returns to City Opera as the madcap king.
The parking lot at Lincoln Center is worth the cost, and very convenient to the venue. You can reserve parking in advance when you purchase tickets, or separately at the Lincoln Center site. (link)
