From the producer:
Encores! NO, NO, NANETTE City Center Main Stage May 8 - May 12, 2008 $25, $50, $95 Book by Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel Music by Vincent Youmans Lyrics by Irving Caesar and Otto Harbach Adapted and originally directed by Burt Shevelove

No, No, Nanette, starring Sandy Duncan, Rosie O’Donnell and Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), is a light-hearted tale of millionaires, misunderstood wives, innocent young girls, beautiful women and betrayal, with lots of tap dancing. The show features such classic songs as “Tea for Two” and “I Want to Be Happy."
New York City Center Gala Monday May 12, 7pm
Join us for New York City Center’s annual Gala... featuring a special added performance of Encores! No, No, Nanette.
The Encores! franchise is one of the highest profile long-running gigs in the area - you might have seen one on PBS' "Great Performances", and a few Broadway shows have transferred virtually intact from the (very) staged readings. It also draws a lot of industry folk, so there's a good chance you'll be surrounded by hundreds of theatre professionals as you enjoy a top-flight staging.
(Technically, they're readings, not stagings, but that has evolved so much over the years that they're almost fully staged, with the exception of the fact that all of the characters seem to have a penchant for three-ring binders.)
