Closes 7/27/2008 Closing Performance at the Westside Theatre: July 27, 2008 Quite possibly the perfect wholesome yet slightly risque date show, this charming, fun and inoffensive show has been running for many years, and has spawned productions all over the world. The critics said it would never last, the Times griping about the unimaginative rendering of "the stereotypical mating rituals of the middle class", but that was quite a few years ago. The theatre is situated in a quiet corner of midtown (two blocks from Times Square), and several excellent restaurants are on the same block as the theatre.
