From the producer:Three men and one woman tell their life stories from childhood, crime, prison, homelessness and into... The Castle. The Castle is a dramatic story of change and hope. Conceived and directed by David Rothenberg. Written in collaboration with Vilma Ortiz Donovan, Kenneth Harrigan, Angel Ramos and Casimiro Torres. What's New World Stages?
New World Stages is a converted complex of movie theatres in midtown, about a block west of the Broadway theatre district. Very well-apportioned, with excellent intermission bars and very comfortable seats, it is a rental house, meaning that outside producers pay the theatre a certain amount to bring their shows in, resulting in wildly varying fare, but the high rental costs keep the riffiest of the riff-raff at bay.
