Over a decade ago, this show challenged the assumptions of the theatregoing public - instead of sitting quietly in a dark room, watching a drama play out in a lit corner of the space, audience members got to walk through the drama as players in the show. Professional actors play out scripted and improvised conflicts, involving audience members as part of one of the 'families'. Now, a decade later, the 'shock of the new' has worn off, but the dinner is still warm.
Pasta dinner is on the house. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.
Note that both the cerermony and the reception now happen at Vinnie Black's Coliseum at the Edison Hotel (221 West 46th). The ceremony used to take place at St. Lukes, down the street.
