The play asks, “How do we keep going when hope can seem as fictional as a Hollywood ending?” and also, “What’s for lunch?”
Author Bess Wohl's plays include "Small Mouth Sounds" (featured in top ten lists in The New York Times, The Guardian, New York Post, and others), "American Hero," "Barcelona," and "Touched." Her work has been produced or developed at theaters in New York and around the country, including Second Stage, Ars Nova, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Geffen Playhouse, and the New York International Fringe Festival, among many others. In 2015, Wohl won the Sam Norkin special Drama Desk Award for "establishing herself as an important voice in New York theater." "Continuity" was first developed at Chicago’s Goodman Theater as part of the New Stages festival.
