Illusionist Vitaly Beckman creates a theatrical experience that takes the audience on a magical journey blending art and illusion, conjuring some of the most amazing spectacles ever witnessed.
From the producers: Faces that disappear from drivers’ licenses. Paintbrushes that paint on their own. Photographs that literally come to life right before your eyes. Brace yourself for a whole new take on magic and step into Vitaly’s world. Hailed as one of the most unique and innovative illusionists in the world, Vitaly Beckman recently stumped Penn & Teller on their hit TV show "Fool Us" with one of his diabolically clever creations. Blending art and illusion with his captivating style, Vitaly Beckman’s one-of-a-kind theatrical experience retraces his journey from a boy with a dream to a man with a vision. During this journey, the audience rediscovers along with Vitaly the importance of finding beauty and wonder in everyday life and in all living things.
Illusionist Vitaly Beckman has played sold-out engagements in Las Vegas, Seattle, Detroit, Toronto, Vancouver, Tel Aviv, and Puerto Montt and Chile. “Vitaly fooled us with his humor and amazing magic,” Penn & Teller said in a statement. “We are so proud he’s opening at the Westside Theatre where we first opened our show in New York over 30 years ago. He is an ingenious inventor, full of charming surprises.”
Beckman has invented and designed all of the illusions in this production. Attendees can expect to see paintings coming alive, still photographs turning into mini-movies, and time reversing itself as bare broken tree branches visibly repair while sprouting new green leaves. Audience members will also watch their faces disappear from their own driver’s licenses.
